Editorial:

The first plumbing installation for cold and hot water distribution system using JRG Sanipex Classic with Pex pipes in pipe and bronze fittings in the Middle East area was in Lebanon in 1983.Since that time hundreds and hundreds of installations have followed in all the region especially in the gulf countries i.e. United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kingdom of Bahrain and Sultanate of Oman. During the last 22 years many technologies using "plastic" pipes emerged in the market.Every system has its advantage and disadvantage due to various factors like:-Expansion factor of the pipe-Jointing technique between the pipe and the fitting -Material used for the fittings (metal, plastic etc…)-Accessibility for maintenance (pipe to be replaced or not)-Durability.

 In our point of view the two most important factors, besides the high quality of the product, are the reliability and the durability of our JRG products.By using the replaceable Pex pipe in pipe with bronze fittings (Sanipex)or the Pex Alu Pex with the plastic fittings (MT) JRG can fulfill the needs of its clients in various applications such residential (high rise buildings or villas) commercial, hospitals etc…

Furthermore the JRG Research and development department in Sissach Switzerland is developing new components in order to increase the range of JRG products and its applications.At the end we do hope that more consultants, developers, contractors, and private clients will use JRG technique and will join the team of quality and durability. References in Lebanon:

Lebanon was the first country in the Middle East importing JRG Sanipex from Switzerland in the year 1983. The first installation was at Mr. Riyad Solh palace in Beirut partially damaged by the Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 1982.Today hundreds of installations are witnessing to the high quality as well as the durability of the JRG Sanipex system in multiple and various applications covering residential apartments, villas, high rise buildings, beach touristic complexes, health-fare associations, hospitals, schools etc…in all the regions from the North to the South of Lebanon.We have enclosed photos of some of these references with the comments of the responsibles of these jobs.

After the successful implementation of JRG Sanipex system in Lebanon due to its multiple advantages mainly quality and durability it was normal to look for new markets especially in the Arab world. The gulf countries were the ideal markets in the prolongation of the Lebanese market.Our marketing and sales campaign started in 1989 in the six countries of the GCC i.e. United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Kingdom of Bahrain and Sultanate of Oman. JRG Sanipex Classic:

In 1978 JRG was the first company introducing in the market the plastic pipe in pipe system combined with gunmetal (bronze) fittings for hot and cold water pipes. For the first time plastics were used for such application presenting many advantages mainly the replacement of the inner pipe without damaging wall and floor tiles. The inner pipe made of cross-linked polyethylene (XL-PE) in a protective and insulating conduit is laid inside the walls or floors and connected to elbow boxes and fittings made of gunmetal an alloy which is highly resistant to corrosion.The patented JRG Sanipex Classic cone grip union is the only connection technology with a regulation function and one of the few connection techniques which leaves the full pipe cross section unobstructed.

JRG Sanipex MT:

The innovative installation system completely made of plastic for sanitary, heating and compressed air installations.

The JRG Sanipex MT represents an innovative installation system completely made of plastic. Pipes, made of cross linked polyethylene (XL-PE) –Aluminum- cross linked polyethylene (XL-PE) are form stable and rigid. The fittings are manufactured in a special 2 layers technology, the inner part made of hot water-resistant PPSU and the black mechanically resistant external fitting of PA with 30% glass fiber reinforcement.The system presents a full piping cross section in fittings. Those fittings for sizes d16 and d20 can also be used with the flexible JRG Sanipex Classic.The installation of such system is, in fact, simple and safe assembly tanks to its connection with multiple seals, making the hot and cold-water distribution system in the bathroom durable, reliable and highly corrosion-resistant.
